Shelton, CT – Feb. 23, 2006 – Market Data Retrieval (MDR), the leading
provider of sales and marketing solutions for the education industry, and
RedRock Reports LLC, the experts on K-12 grants and funding, today announced the
formation of an exclusive partnership.
Effective immediately, the joint venture provides for the co-development and
delivery of education funding information products and services for companies
selling or marketing to districts and schools, as well as educators themselves.
These tools will help businesses identify new and timely opportunities related
to federal, state, and private funding for education initiatives. For educators,
the combined effort will provide information on funding sources as well as the
expertise to help write and pursue appropriate grant opportunities. The service
is expected to go "live" this spring.
“As we continue to expand our sales & marketing solutions for the education
market, the MDR team is very pleased to be working with the thought leaders from
RedRock Reports,” said Fady Khairallah, general manager of MDR. “Our history in
providing the highest quality data solutions for our customers allows us to
bring valuable expertise to this partnership. Combined with the industry
experience and consulting capabilities of RedRock's experts, these offerings
will be unique and extremely valuable as the education funding landscape
continues to evolve.”
MDR announced plans in late 2005 to launch a funding alert service to support
sales professionals, that would complement its proven line of database marketing
solutions, including the largest educator email contact database available. The
partnership with RedRock Reports will expand the range of offerings related to
timely funding alerts, including a suite of consulting, reporting and support
services.
“The opportunity to join forces with the market leader in data collection
enables us to expand our reach and scope exponentially,” said Dr. Jennifer
House, president of RedRock Reports. “The complementary expertise of the two
organizations should result in unprecedented clarity around federal, state, and
foundation funding information. This is exactly what the industry has been
asking for and exactly what this partnership is going to deliver.”
RedRock Reports, formed in 2005, is an education consulting firm that includes a
team of industry veterans led by industry consultant Dr. Jennifer House, a
former teacher, school administrator and leader of education technology efforts
at companies such as Hewlett Packard and Apple. In addition to House, the
